Please join us for the 9th Annual NMES Kitchen Tour, sponsored by Nicolet National Bank. This year’s tour is on Thursday, April 19th, with tours from 10 am to 8 pm.
We hope you will enjoy this year’s presentation of five spectacular homes filled with superb demonstrations from local businesses and organizations. This year you will be treated with samples of sushi, beer, bread and olive oil, sangria, salad, champagne, and other fun delectable treats. In addition to the five houses on the tour, we also have a sixth stop at the Ridgeway County Club for an exclusive Kitchen Boutique featuring over ten fabulous vendors who have terrific must have items for your own kitchen and home. You and your friends can also sit down for a beautiful lunch or dinner in the clubhouse overlooking the 18th hole or enjoy a quick drink at the bar.
The Kitchen Tour is NMES’ most important fundraiser. The proceeds from the Kitchen Tour sponsors, tickets, raffles, and giving trees will be used to help families in need of financial assistance in Neenah-Menasha and fund other NMES programs like the Back to School Fair, Rogan’s Shoes Certificates, and Winter Weather Attire for students.
Thank you for supporting NMES. We are grateful for your generosity. As you embark on this year’s Kitchen Tour, please enjoy the day with your friends and loved ones!

Built in 2017, this stunning home nestled on a wooded lot perfectly defines the term “modernfarmhouse.”The moment you walk through the door, every detail of this house flawlessly incorporates the old with the new. The great room draws you in with floor-to-ceiling shiplap. A classic fireplace, featuring cream city brick from Milwaukee, is topped off with a rustic wood beam mantle. In the great room, the aged white oak hardwood flooring and recycled barn wood trusses make a statement against the white ceiling and walls. Shedding light throughout the home, the floor-to-ceiling windows bring in the outdoors. The colors of the white and dark grey custom cabinetry are repeated in the beautiful quartz countertop. A portion of the island showcases lumber salvaged from Navy Pier. The massive dining room table and bench seating were custom made from a tree which grew in Madison. A hanging barn door hides a desk area and kitchen pantry with an enviable amount of storage. As you walk past the half bath, you will travel onto the recycled Chicago pink brick style flooring to a laundry room tucked behind an antique pocket door, which was refinished by the homeowner. This laundry room will make you forget that laundry is a chore!
The master bedroom, with its rustic wood beams, fireplace, and massive en suite, continues the modern farmhouse style. This home is a must see!

After living in this colonial house for 23 years, the owners completely renovated the house’s interior down to the studs and transformed the space into a modern and sophisticated classic home.
In keeping with a colonial floorplan, a formal living room and dining room are on either side of the front door. The rich coloring of the wood floors creates a pathway throughout the home. The soothing color palette welcomes you into the space. As you progress toward the great room, you will pass the opulent gold half bath, which is not to be missed. Once in the kitchen and dinette area, custom cabinetry and rich grey walls flank a beautiful floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace. Your eye is drawn to a large chandelier located in the center of the custom-built coffered ceiling. The great room has a wall of French doors with transom windows flooding light into the home and accentuating the stunning light grey kitchen cabinets. Crystal pendant lights hang over the kitchen island highlighting the herringbone tile backsplash. The custom-made detail in the glass doors connects with the design in the great room. In 2010, Steckling Builders built this majestic home. Your first impression is that you are arriving at a Tuscan Estate. The gorgeous entrance has a perfectly balanced stone and stucco exterior. When you walk into the grand foyer, you are greeted with it’s unique winding staircase. Your eyes are immediately drawn to the wall of windows in the living room which is designed to maximize the view to the resort-like pool and backyard. Both the interior and exterior of the home give prominence to stunning travertine columns, tiles, and custom railings. The open-concept kitchen features a barrel ceiling and beams, ornate custom cabinetry, chef’s style amenities, and a “hidden” pantry. The newly renovated hallway has a similarly curved ceiling and beams adorned with chandeliers that light your way to the spacious laundry room and mud room. The large inset chalkboard adds whimsical, yet functional, charm to the space. As you take in the exceptional architecture, don’t miss the remodeled garden room (formerly a guest room) featuring French doors and additional windows that bring in the outdoors. The master bedroom is beautifully framed with a tray ceiling, and the attached bathroom is a special place for tranquility. This home was uniquely designed for impact and easy living for a busy family.

The chef’s kitchen has double ovens, a warming oven, and a gas stove with a retractable vent. The granite counter-tops and a natural stone backsplash add to the kitchen’s timeless elegance. With a natural flow and abundance of space, this house is a dream for entertaining. The spiral staircase leads you to the second floor where another entertaining area awaits with a balcony overlooking the cascading pool. In 2017, Hoffmann Strobel Builders built this stunning home. The front porch accentuates the entrance and adds to the charm of the home’s interior. As you enter, the large masonry stone fireplace and tongue and groove butternut ceiling feels warm and welcoming. The kitchen is truly the heart of this home. Rustic wood ceiling beams frame the kitchen and dinette area. You will gravitate to the custom designed, concrete, aggregate countertop with flecks of recycled glass bottles gleaming in the light-filled room. The large island with it’s butcher-block countertop is the focal point for both cooking and gathering. Integrated into the kitchen’s design, the banquette seating is the perfect place for family dinners. The prep area of the kitchen features an antique, dove-tailed butcher-block which was manufactured in Appleton and once stood as a display in the Choice Beverage Mart in Neenah. The easy flow of the home leads to a screened-in porch and sitting area.
